Monday- Sports Day – Wear your favorite sports team!
Tuesday- Good vs. Evil Day – Be your favorite super hero or villain!
Wednesday- Black and Gold Day – Show your miner pride!
Thursday - #throwbackthursday Decades Day- Choose a decade to support!
Friday- Student Teacher Switch Day – Students dress like teachers and teachers dress like students!
*Pep Rally is Friday!! (note this is a change from the originally published date of Wednesday)
IF teachers choose to participate in each themed day, then teachers may wear jeans ONLY ONLY ONLY if you are participating in that theme for the day.
Intentions for next year - HR deadline
Everyone must complete!!! As we prepare for the upcoming year, we are requesting that you indicate your interest in returning to Cabarrus County Schools next year, or notify us if you plan to retire or resign. This is also your opportunity to indicate a school preference for involuntary transfers if your school and your position are impacted by allotment changes. You may also use this opportunity to request a voluntary transfer for other reasons. Your preferences will be considered as we plan for next year. This window is open December 18, 2015 through January 31, 2016. Please see email from Glenda Jones dated 12/18 for additional information.

6th grade Band!
Faculty/Student Basketball Game
· February 19th (We will follow a pep rally Schedule this day)
· Students can enter to play using minerbucks as their raffle tickets. (the more minerbucks they turn in, the more chances to play they have)
· Cost of student admission to the game is $2
· Students who do not pay to attend will remain in the classroom with one of the teachers on their team/pod.
General Reminders
- CCS drug free workplace orientation Monday 2/15 9-1030am for all new employees at Robinson. School law briefing held after until noon.
- Please remind your PLCs that they are supposed to be providing feedback after each unit using the Unit Feedback Tool in the PLC Toolbox. This feedback is where we will start the summer curriculum review week to make revisions—their input is valuable and needed!
- Literacy credit reminders for licensure renewals: mUst have 3.0 literacy credits when renewing. this is already in effect.

* PowerSchool maintenance weekend has been rescheduled for February 19-21.

March 8: Cabarrus Arts Council "I Have a Dream" Performance 2:45pm 8th grade
March 15: Originally a regular school day, but was changed to a teacher workday that is CAPPED. This day is taking place of the May teacher workday that was on the original CCS calendar.
SPECIAL NOTE: CCS has released that middle school open houses will be on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 4:30-6:00pm. Please make this note, as well. All staff are expected to be in attendance.
