Good Morning, Families.

I wanted to start this letter out thanking all of the parents who came together yesterday to show how much they value the teaching staff here at Holy Rosary/Juan Diego. It was an amazing show of love. Parents filled in for recess, covered classes during the teacher lunches, arranged and ran the assembly, and even provided lunch (thank you Ceria Family and La Fondita), gifts (thank you Jackie Lemus and room parents), and dances (thank you Lizbeth, Erika, and all of the kids who participated). It was a wonderful day.

This morning, however, brings some sad news in our school community. Late last night, Mrs. Silva's husband passed away unexpectedly. While he has had health problems for the past couple of years, this was completely unexpected for the family. We will be doing a rosary for Mr. and Mrs. Silva and the entire family this morning with the 3rd and 4th graders. Please hold her and her family in your prayers at this difficult time.
