Linden Athletics Monthly
All Positive - All Athletics - All Eagles - Sept. 2021
A message from the Athletic Director
As human beings, negativity sometimes outweighs positive thoughts in our minds. It is very easy to focus on the bad things that are going on in our society and ignore the great things that our students are doing right here in our own community. I'm excited to publish the first newsletter titled Linden Athletics Monthly. This will be a newsletter that is sent out the last week of each month to inform everyone of all of the good things going on in the world of Linden Athletics. Our students are making us proud on a daily basis, but it seems that the only thing we focus on are the negative aspects that this world brings along. I ask before you continue reading, put yourself in a positive mindset and take a few minutes to realize all of the good that we have surrounding us.
Enjoy!

A Message From the Coaches -
"I want to start by telling everyone involved with the Linden Classic how much I appreciate their help and dedication. This event needs MANY people all working together to be carried out successfully. Even if you did a small or simple job, you were a huge help and part of an important team. THANK YOU SO MUCH! This year had its own challenges with the weather and course the way it was, so thank you for being troopers in the rain. I want to remind everyone that this single day (and many days of preparation) is the reason we don't have to do any other type of fundraiser. This is the reason we can put on a summer camp that is cheaper than any other sports camp I know of. This is the reason we can take a charter bus to the state meet each year. The list goes on and on, but once again thank you for being great parents and athletes." - Varsity Girls Cross Country Coach, Ben Cox
"The Lady Eagles Varsity Volleyball team is off to an 11-7-3 start this year. Being a young team, we are doing a lot of learning together, but finding time to have fun as well. Just a couple of pictures of the girls in their scavenger hunt around the school. We take on our rival Fenton on Wednesday! We will also be sorting 6,000 pounds of food donated from the Barnfest in the upcoming weeks." - Varsity Volleyball Coach, Cori Mason
Congratulations to Our Girls Golf Team - FLINT METRO LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!
