We Are Learning...
We are continuing to learn about strategies to help us read with fluency and accuracy! Good readers have many strategies to solve problems during reading! This we week specifically focused on making predictions. We discussed how making predictions can make us better readers, and that it is important to continually make predictions as each story progresses!
We are busy writing our personal narrative drafts and revising as we go! We are studying mentor texts to help us improve our writing. We look forward to sharing some of our writing at our upcoming conferences!
This week our class is learning about different strategies to solve subtraction problems and applying them to problem solving.
