Transportation Changes
New This Year:
Please know that in order to prevent cars from backing up to River Drive, we must use dual lanes for our car riders. We carefully watch the order of cars as they arrive and ensure that we release each lane appropriately. We are doing our best to make sure that no one is breaking in line and that everyone goes through in the order that they arrived. Please follow the directions of our wonderful staff members.

Car Rider Lane Update!
Another reminder is that students may only be dropped off/picked up at the blacktop at the back of the school. We do continue to have students being dropped off in the front lanes when cars and buses are present. This is a real safety issue. Also, please do not pass another car in the car rider lane as this is a safety issue too.
Finally, please do not drop off students prior to 8:15 am unless they are Biology students in Mr. O'Connor's class.
We appreciate your support!
Join Today!
The PTSA welcomes all our new Five Forks families to the 2015-2016 school year and would like to encourage you to become a member for only $6.00. We are striving for 100% participation and hope you'll take advantage of this easy way to get involved in many different PTSA-sponsored activities throughout the school year.
The PTSA Hospitality Committee needs your help on September 23rd! Help us show our support for our FFMS teachers and staff by providing some goodies for Early Release Day, while they work that afternoon and evening. Please sign up to donate food or paper goods, via this link!
If you have not yet completed and returned a HCC communication form, please fill one out next time you visit FFMS. This will help us keep you informed via email about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.
Clip Away!
Every month we will have a collection contest. You can help your child's homeroom win parties by simply turning in the labels. Each homeroom will be competing with their grade level to win a classroom party. This month the students can win a Popsicle party! Thanks for your support!

Dress Code
Attention, Broncos: Shorts and skirts must be no shorter than 8" from the bottom of the knee to be worn in class. Also, no bare shoulders or see-through blouses. No holes in jeans or shorts above the knee and no droopy drawers are allowed. If a student is found to be in violation of the Dress Code, parents will be called to bring a change of clothing for their child. If a parent is not readily available to bring an appropriate change of clothes, students are sometimes able to borrow clothing articles from the Clinic. We ask that clothing borrowed clothing from the Clinic be returned at your earliest convenience so that others may have this same opportunity. Thank you for your assistance.
As a reminder, detailed and specific dress code information is located on pages 7 and 8 of your student's agenda book. We hope you will take a moment to review this with your child. We appreciate your cooperation.
