Ridgeview Middle School, 2016-17 Edition 1
WELCOME TO THE 2016-17 SCHOOL YEAR!
--Jennifer Ratica
Kudos to Steven Cross for using his technology skills to help L.A. throughout the year and to provide great examples/models for our students!
--Jennifer Ratica
Kudos to Michelle Geyer for working so hard, providing excellent feedback for her students, demonstrating a great deal of wisdom (with making decisions and interacting with students), and helping her students finish the year with an overall positive experience!
--Jennifer Ratica
Kudos to Kara Russell for strongly encouraging me to read The Book Whisperer last summer. It has changed my approach to teaching and me personally as well. I have never read so many books in one summer and during a school year in my entire life! I enjoyed every minute of it and was able to model that for my students this year. This was a "game changer" for teaching and for life - thank you!!!

Kudos to Linda Kay. When we were doing stations in class, I asked for a piece of silver, and you gave me an 18-carat diamond (the gift of yourself). Thank you for volunteering your time, talent, and teaching skills to work directly with students. Thank you also (for other occasions) for being willing to share resources, acknowledge student efforts, and support Language Arts well beyond what is required. You're definitely a gem! :-)
--Jennifer Ratica
Kudos to Ana Arroyo for organizing "Kudos" so we can send out tiny tokens of appreciation for the great things people do!!
--Jennifer Ratica
Kudos to Coach Greely for providing positive peer mentors and messages through PALS for students who really need that extra support
--Jennifer Ratica
Kudos to Hilary Perez for juggling so many balls and continuing to support so many people this past year.
--Jennifer Ratica
Kudos to Greg Rozsa and his wife for their commitment to change the lives of not only students, but more importantly, their three (adopted) children as well.
--Jennifer Ratica
Kudos to Lesley Roberts for her valuable support with parents and students
--Jennifer Ratica
Kudos to Travis Mutscher for his leadership and support of reading in and out of the classroom
--Jennifer Ratica
I am so grateful for everyone who helped me, during my absence, when I was on leave. From the office staff, to Linda Nelson, to my team, please know I appreciate yo and thank you from the bottom of my heart. It's been a rough road, but all of you have made my transition in life that much smoother. Thanks you!
