Vacation Bible School
VBS is back for a fun bible adventure for
children ages 4 through 4th grade!
July 26-30

St. John's Summer Camp: Formed in Faith
St. John the Baptist Parish is excited to offer a week long camp about the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass! During the week, students will be immersed into the enormous beauty and depth of the "source and summit" of our Catholic faith.
Each day will involve fun activities, prayer, in depth learning sessions, community, service, and much more. Each day will center around a particular theme or concept:
- Day 1: Agape
- Day 2: Pasch
- Day 3: Emmaus
- Day 4: ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST FEAST DAY MASS!
- Day 5: Missa
By the end of the week each student will have developed a greater understanding of the liturgy, formed new friendships, and received new tools to live out their Catholic faith every day.
***Open to all kids Grades 1-8 from St. John the Baptist, St. John Neumann, and Corpus Christi.***
Summer Band Program
Attention all returning band members... Mr. Chuck Lauterbach will be offering a summer band program starting in June. The registration form can be found on The Music Staff web site at
MND Cougar Cub Book Club
Rising 5th and 6th graders are invited to join the free Cougar Cub Book Club! Each participant will receive a personal copy of the selected book to read at home. After reading the book, Cougar Cub Book Club members will be invited to MND for a fun event featuring activities and discussions led by MND Student Ambassadors & Faculty.

Mount Notre Dame Summer Skills Sampler
Rising 6th – 8th grade girls are invited to participate in engaged learning opportunities to help strengthen and sharpen fundamental skills for the classroom and beyond! These unique refresher camps are led by talented and experienced MND faculty members. Suitable for students who have a passion for a particular subject area or students seeking additional skill reinforcement, especially those whose learning may have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Each session is limited to 20 participants.

English & Writing Skills Camp
July 12-15, 2021 | 9 AM – 11 AM
Description: In the four-day English and Writing Skills camp, students will engage in review skills with exciting hands-on experiences that will improve, enhance and strengthen their Language Arts foundational skills. Skills: Essay Writing, Grammatical Foundations, Critical Thinking Approaches to Reading, and Unlocking Vocabulary for Understanding
Math Skills Camp
July 12-15, 2021 | 9 PM – 11 AM
Description: In this four-day experience, campers will gather and analyze data, and discover ways to use mathematics to communicate information and make predictions while reviewing and strengthening their foundational Math skills.
Skills: Relating Fractions, Decimals and Percents, Basic Statistics, Algebraic Thinking and Graphing, Sequences and Series
Science Skills Camp
June 28 – July 2, 2021 | 1 PM – 3 PM
Description: In this five-day camp, participants will engage in hands-on experiences to strengthen foundational Science skills. The camp fee includes take-home supplies of goggles, lab notebook, fossils, crystals, etc.
Skills/Content: Data Analysis, Measurement, Lab Techniques, Matter and Energy, Earth Science, Rocks and Fossils, Energy in Ecosystems

Elder Summer Camps
The Elder Fun Camp is a great opportunity to have a fun summer
experience! Led by Elder students, campers will participate in a wide range
of activities and meet new friends! Two sessions are available and are
based on the age of your son:
July 6 – 8
Session 1: 9:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. - for boys entering 3rd, 4th, or 5th grades
Session 2: 1:00-4:00 P.M. - for boys entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grades

The Elder Enrichment Camp is a four-day course for eighth grade
students to help them prepare for the High School Placement Test (HSPT).
This class is taught by highly skilled teachers, Rob Oberjohann and Tara
Tuttle, who excel in their respective fields. The class will allow students to
take practice tests, learn test taking skills and strategies, receive an
entrance exam prep book, and participate in fun activities. Pre-registration
and $100 camp fee are required.
Session 1: July 12 – 15, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Session 2: July 26 – 29, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Also, any 8th grade girl can prepare for the new Archdiocesan High School Entrance and Placement test here at Ursuline Academy!
Led by two experienced Ursuline teachers, the HSPT test prep course will help you feel more confident on testing day so you can do your best. The course will cover standardized test taking strategies as well as familiarize you with the format and types of questions on the HSPT, including practice questions for each section. Each class session will also incorporate stress management strategies and activities led by Ursuline guidance counselors and student leaders.
