PK Art Show
3nd - 6th May 2016
The end of year is rapidly approaching and there is still much to learn and celebrate!
This last week has been full of activity getting everything finished for our fantastic Art Show.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to you all for supporting our PK Art Show and making it the success it has been. Your generous support will allow us to grant Yossimar's wish.
The children have been working so hard on their art works and it was such a pleasure to see the pride in their faces as they showed you around their exhibition.
I hope you enjoy what is just a snapshot of how the children created such wonderful pieces. We will be sending all their art work home next week.
CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU TO PAULA AND FAMILY FOR YOUR GENEROUS WINNING BID!!
Our young artists, ready and waiting to show off their art!
The sound of music................
Using different colored water jars we "painted" our own music.
Along a music line we painted our "notes" and by matching the water jars we were able to play our song.
Touchy feely t-shirts!
In the story Too Much Glue our character gets all sorts of things stuck on him when he uses too much glue.
We became real life masterpieces as we used "glue raindrops not puddles" to stick lots of different textured collage materials such as feathers, yarn and sequins to our t-shirts.
AN APPLE A DAY......
I spy........
Buildings around us.
the children first drew a building they recalled seeing around them. Once finished they went over the lines with glue and let it dry out. This made the perfect border to paint inside our buildings with bright and colorful acrylic paint.
This was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of our recent Building's study.
