Photosynthesis

guerreroblanca period 3

How it works

What is photsynthesis

What is photosynthesis? Photosynthesis is the process of converting light enery to food for the plants also known as glucose. Glucose is a sugar that plants make for food. We get O2 and the plants use C6H12O6 and also in their process they also use CO2.

The equation

C6H12O6+602

underlined= means that the number is how many atoms their is in the equation also suposse to be smaller than it is right now

explanition of each compound

CO2: carbon dioxide and two atoms of oxygen

O2: two atoms of oxygen

C6H12O6: six atoms of carbon dioxide twelve atoms of hydrogen and six atoms of oxygen
