Welcome (Student)!

Dear (Parents),

Thank you for registering for piano classes. (Student) is officially enrolled for piano classes!

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to teach (student). I look forward to giving (student or students) an excellent piano and music appreciation education. I consider it a wonderful privilege to be involved in this aspect of (his/her, or their) (life or lives).

Classes will be held (Day and Time). The weekly (type of classes) piano class will include a combination of engaging songs, music learning activities, educational games, and technology. Throughout the course students will learn to differentiate between right and left hand, perform a song by using sheet music, identify finger numbers, find high and low notes, recognize long and short sounds, explore the geography of the keyboard, count and name note values, develop rhythm awareness, and learn piano key names

A class binder and materials will be needed for class. For the 2015-2016 school year, I will provide the class binder as well as books (student or students) might need for class. This will come from the Annual Books and Materials Fee.

Below is some helpful information about how to make the best out of the classes

Please let me know if you have any questions about the classes or anything else I can help you with. Thank you so much for your support and I will look forward to see (student) in class!

Musically yours,

Carl Lauderman

Tuition Time

Monthly tuition for (type of classes) once a week is ($136) per month. Tuition will be automatically charged monthly to the card on file provided on the music registration or payment in the form of check, credit card, or cash is due during the first week of the new month from the 1st day until the 10th of each month. (Example: January tuition will be automatically charged to the card on file or payment in the form of check, credit card, or cash is due January 1st until the 10th). Tuition remains the same each month regardless of the number of classes per month whether the student is present or not. Most months include 4 classes. Months with only 3 classes are balanced with months of 5 classes.

Make-up Lessons

Make-up lessons are available when a student misses a class, although please note that missed lessons are not guaranteed to be made up. The instructor, however, will do his best to schedule make-up lessons on a later date depending on what is available. Lessons are either scheduled during the time slot when another student misses their class or missed time is added to regular classes over a period of 2-3 weeks. Please note that there are no refunds or credits for missed classes or for make-up lessons that could not be scheduled.

Students who are ill are advised not to attend their lesson. Please note that not all missed lessons can be made up. The instructor will do his best to schedule a make-up class or add missed time gradually to regular lessons.

Please cancel at least one week in advance or at least one day before your lesson, or at least 2 hours before your lesson due to illness or other events.
