Prescott Metal/EAM in Biddeford hosted a small group of students interested in welding, mechanical engineering and other trades for a tour and informational session on Tuesday, May 3rd. This visit was sponsored by our Career Pathways Program and gave students a chance to learn about the process from sales to design and manufacture as well as to hear from professionals and tradespeople about their work and careers.
Students in Albert McCormack's Genetics & Genomics joined Junior Achievement of Southern New England and Jackson Laboratory for an interactive virtual program on May 3rd where students heard directly from JL scientists about the role of genetics in cancer and how researchers are using genetic information to develop better treatment options for cancer patients. The Genomic Generation program was an excellent opportunity for students interested in the field of bioscience and research.
