Principal's Corner
Dear Families,
We are thankful for the slightly warmer weather over the last few days. Thank you for continuing to help your students dress for the weather!
We celebrated our School Counselor, Ms. Murray during "School Counselor Week." We are thankful for all she does for our students (and our staff)!
We have seen many examples of students following the Creekside 4 this week:
- Students being KIND and holding doors open for teachers,
- Students being RESPONSIBLE and picking up their area before leaving the cafeteria,
- Students being SAFE and watching out for others on the playground, and
- Students being RESPECTFUL and following adult directions the first time.
Way to go, Comets!
This is a reminder that the parent and student survey windows are open until March 3. This is an anonymous survey that will provide valuable feedback to our school and teachers. Please take a minute to respond by going into your MyDSD account. We appreciate the support of our Creekside families and continually strive to improve for our students and community.
Remember - there is no school on Monday, February 20 in observance of Presidents Day.
Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
Stay Connected!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Schow
Parking Lot Safety
Thank you so much for your care and consideration while dropping off and picking up students! Our Creekside families have done a wonderful job leaving the crosswalk open!
You may notice a great addition to the drop-off/pick-up lane this week thanks to our wonderful PTA. Thank you for
- keeping the crosswalk clear,
- only parking in accessible spots IF you have the appropriate placard, and
- pulling all the way to the curb to drop off/pick up.
Please remember to use the same rules when accessing the parking lot to the east of the school (closer to Fairfield Jr. High.) Use the parking spots to park and wait, and use the driving lanes to keep moving. We appreciate it when you show consideration and kindness for each other!
