The Balancing Act
The world we live in today is hectic, complicated, and full of noise. For parents/guardians this is especially true when trying to balance not only your needs but those under your care. None of us escape the nature of being human and to be human means we will feel "less than" at times. These are the times when we need to turn to each other, turn toward resources and consider other possibilities.
The age old adage "it takes a village..." was never more understood than during the last two years of the pandemic. That village has moved from our neighborhoods to a collective web of resources and people we can reach both in person and virtually. Connection, reflection and listening can help us bridge our feelings of "less than" and provide direction when we feel lost. This newsletter will highlight some of those possible connections as we help our kids and community navigate technology, mental health and being human.
