A Note From the Teacher

Happy December! I can hardly believe we are in the final month of this year! Over the next few weeks, we are reading and comparing various versions of The Gingerbread Boy, such as: The Gingerbread Boy by Paul Galdone, The Gingerbread Girl by Lisa Ernst, and The Gingerbread Baby by Jan Brett. We will also decorate paper gingerbread people. We are using these gingerbread people for a special project in which we need your help. After your child has created their boy/girl, we are sending them home in a manilla envelope. Please mail the envelope to a relative or friend in another town, state, or country. We hope to learn about other places in our wonderful world!

Finally, our classroom winter party will be here before you know it. We will need volunteers to help with the activities at the party and help with providing the supplies for the party. Please click on the link below to the website, "Volunteer Spot" for you to sign up if you would like to volunteer to send in items for our party. We will also need volunteers to assist at the party with the activities. If you would be willing and able to do so, please send me an email. Thank you all in advance for your help and support!

Thank you as always for sharing your children with us! Enjoy this beautiful fall weather and have a wonderful weekend!

Mustang of the Week

This week's Mustang of the Week for this week is Mackenzie. Mackenzie likes to play Ring-Around-the Rosie, the movie "Frozen", the color purple, and eating sticky rice. Great job Mackenzie!
