General Resources

  • ECKLC iPD - online platform with courses to meet professional development needs, including CDA continuing education credits. You must sign up for the free account. Courses include Addressing ACE's, Substance Misuse, STEAM, Math, and Beginning Teacher Series.
  • Child Plus Free Learning Library - they are offering training on the following modules: Education-mobile April 20-24, Health-mobile April 27-May 1


  • Super Instructional Resources - Zoom presentation by Diane Balthrop with lot of links to digital resources.
  • Supporting English Learners in Texas - TEA website that provides information and resources that are relevant, accessible, and impactful to support educational leaders, teachers, parents and families, and community partners to ensure the academic success of the State’s English learners.
  • ELOF@HOME learn more about Head Start's learning goals for children across developmental age groups and ELOF domains. This app is designed for home visitors but is very useful during this time that we are teaching parents to be their child's teachers at home.

  • Mind Yeti: fun mindfulness videos with guided sessions that help kids de-stress, focus, get along with others, and relax. Videos are also available in Spanish.
  • Confident Parents, Confident Kids: a site with parent and child resources that support social-emotional development
  • Parent Toolkit: a site with information and articles about all aspects of child development
