Senior Trip Update

2019 SENIOR TRIP CAMPING RULES
District student code of conduct applies. Students with significant behavioral histories and/or poor attendance patterns may not be allowed on the trip. Students who are suspended between tonight and trip will not attend.
Absolutely NO ALCOHOL/ DRUGS/VAPORIZERS – bags will be checked before leaving. Students violating this will be suspended from all remaining school and extracurricular activities, including graduation.
Beverages/liquids or home prepared foods are NOT allowed. Only unopened packaged goods can be brought on the bus. If you have dietary restrictions please indicate this on the signature form so that we can plan accordingly.
Students who are involved in high level discipline or a high number of unexcused absences between March 13 and the trip may be removed from the trip.
No unsupervised water activities.
Camp noise curfew is at 11:00 p.m.
No “couples” alone in cabins. No co-ed sleeping arrangements.
All cabin members share responsibility for any damage.
You cannot arrive late or leave early from the trip unless previously agreed upon through administration. Only parents can drop off/pick up students from the camp. If you need to arrive late or leave early, please indicate this on the signature form so that we can plan accordingly.
MEDICATIONS:
All medications need to have a doctor’s order.
Consequences
If a student breaks any of the above rules, parents will be called and will be expected to pick students up.
Should illegal substances be involved, police will be contacted and will provide parents with directions and student retrieval procedures. Students will be suspended from school and referred to a Superintendent’s Hearing for a long term suspension through graduation.
Building administration reserves the right to deny access to this trip based on individual student’s behavioral record.
We will arrive back at Thomas around NOON on Sunday. Please be on time to pick up your camper!
