Liturgy Lesson of the Week:
After Fr. Jason's sermon on Thursday, the song "This Little Light of Mine..." buzzed through my head. Another great lesson was shared with our student by Fr. Jason.
Fr. Jason conveyed the importance of sharing the Light of Christ with others during his homily. Very practically, Fr. Jason shared with the students how even the most minor acts of kindness and respect can help share Christ's Light. Before bed tonight, have your student(s) explain how they shared the Light of Christ during the day.
Weekly RES School Liturgy:
We will not have our regularly scheduled Thursday mass this week.

The Kids Heart Challenge - Finn's Mission.
The RES Kids Heart Challenge will officially kick off on February 6, 2023, and we hope you will join us as we work to “Be the Torch” in the fight against heart disease and stroke. We will guide the way to heart health by funding research and engaging kids so they grow into young adults with healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
Starting on February 6, 2023, you can register your student at: http://www2.heart.org/goto/roncalli and begin Finn’s Mission! The goal of Finn’s Mission is to help kids with special hearts and teach 1.8 million families around the country to learn the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR. Why 1.8 million? Because Finn has had 18 procedures.
In addition, our classrooms are participating in a competition to have the most students register and complete Finn’s Mission. If 50% of the students within a classroom take the challenge and at least three complete Finn’s Mission, the classroom will earn two Amazon gift cards.
Thanks so much for your help. We look forward to our big adventure together!
