(drum roll) ... and the Teacher of the Year is!
Moorhead staff selected John Waters as the 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year and Karen Bray as Humanitarian of the Year. Jordan King was selected as the campus Rising Star. Mr. Waters, Mrs. Bray, and Mrs. King do an amazing job each and every day and are well deserving of this honor. Congratulations!
They will be recognized at the TSTA Teacher of the Year ceremony on May 9 at the Woodlands United Methodist Church.
Way to go!
Amazing!
Keep up the great work!
A member of the Caney Creek Junior FFA and a student at Moorhead Junior High, Kylie Jones, made the Montgomery County Fair Auction with her pin of broilers. She and her family worked diligently for 6 weeks to raise her birds to market weight. There were almost 90 students who competed and Kylie was awarded 5th place and her sister Emily Jones who attends Creighton Elementary won 13th place. Both girls were able to sell their birds at the fair auction last Wednesday night and Kylie was awarded a $1,200 scholarship. Join us as we celebrate Kylie's success and the results of modern age agriculture.
