West Oxford Owl
September 16, 2022
At this week's Leadership Meeting, Dr. McLean, our superintendent, recognized West Oxford for meeting growth last year. We are so proud of all of our students and staff and their hard work. We look forward to even more growth this year! We had a great time celebrating Hispanic Heritage spirit week. Thanks to every one of you who participated!
Our Day of Caring is Friday, September 23rd, and we are asking students to bring donations of canned food and non-perishable items to donate to ACIM. We will walk over and deliver these items, so watch for a permission slip to come home early in the week. Friday is also an early release day. Students will dismiss at 12:10.
Fundraising is in high gear! Your child's individualized QR code is on their fundraising envelope, which will take you to their ordering site with prize information. For every three bags of popcorn sold, your student gets a sample free. The top seller will get a $100 gift card. If we raise $7,000, the highest sellers can slime Ms. Bonnemere. Orders are due by Sept 22nd.
We will continue to sell agendas to students in 3rd through 5th grade for $5.
West Oxford swag can be purchased here!
Mark your calendar. Title 1 Curriculum Night is coming on October 6th! Our Fall Festival will be on November 4th!
Remember to be reading 22 minutes every night in 2022!!!
