Chat 'n Chew:

An Ongoing Dialogue Series

Race and Student Activism

Join the American Studies Program and Student Engagement and Activities for a Chat 'n Chew community dialogue with UW Bothell students, faculty, staff, and distinguished scholar Curtis Marez to discuss the intersection of race and student activism historically and today. Curtis Marez is the author of Drug Wars: The Political Economy of Narcotics and the president of the American Studies Association, and he will lead our monthly discussion series for April! Free refreshments provided.

This dialogue will kick off an evening with Marez, who will present a talk about the effects of higher education's growing reliance on student debt at 6:00 p.m. in The Commons.
