Andy was born on August 6, 1928, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Andy died on February 22, 1987, in New York City, NY. Andy primarily did hand drawings and paintings. The types of materials that were used are oil paintings on canvas sometimes acrylic on canvas. Also silk screening, Printing and slide projections used. The style of art Andy did were portraits of famous things and or people on canvas. The type of art Andy did was self portraits and modern art. Some interesting things you may want to know about Andy is his parents were immigrants, he has made a movie that was six hours long of just his friend sleeping, he wore a lot of wigs, and how he died was from a heart attack. Some of the artists that did the same type of work as him were Lee Miller, Normand Baker, and Margit Anna. One of his most favorite quotes was, "fantasy love is much better than reality love."

How I Relate to This Artist
I am inspired by this artist because he has showed me that I can do anything in art as long as I put my mind to it. One way I can relate to this artist is that I love to paint with acrylic. Another would be how devoted I am to my artwork, and lastly, I like to do portraits like he does.
Timeline-
First I will go through all of the high school art classes that are offered, Then I will graduate and go to college and get some type art degree, then all the artwork that I have done and the artwork that I like I will try to put in galleries and get people to know my art and maybe buy it.
