How Do I handle this?
Walking down the hall
Water
We will have water coolers on each floor so teachers can refill bottles, but encourage students to bring multiple water bottles
Bathroom Breaks
Be mindful of the sending students to the restroom in groups. They should be monitored and reduced to a few students at a time.
Dismissal Times
Car line 1
East Side car line, PikMyKid active line. Families with only ES students 2:45
Car Line 2 Pre-k car line 1:00 pm
Car Line 3ES Students with MS/HS siblings 2:40 pm
After SchoolPre-K extended day enrolled students only 1:00
Walker Line 1-Medical excuses, live within walking distance (pre-approved by Admin only)
2:45 dismissed to ES reception for adult to escort to the waiting room
Walker Line 2-AUS housing staff children transportation 2:35 pm to atrium then gate 4
Walker Line 3U.S. Embassy Afternoon dismissal group 2:35 pm to atrium then gate 4
COVID Protocols
Teacher do not take temperatures of students in the classrooms. The nurses will be responsible for the assessment of any students. Random checks will be done by administration and designated individuals.
Attendance
Please use the attendance code E1 to represent all students first day of In-Person Learning. Until the student shows up to their first day, leave it blank.
Once the student has been here for the first day, then you may proceed with the Absent and Present codes.
Also, please use the code CVD if a student is absent because of COVID related reasons
Admission Testing
Testing will be conducted weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays with timings depending on the test/grade level. Once students return to school, the schedule will be adjusted accordingly.
Invitations for testing appointments will be sent by Dalia or Sana to your Google calendar soon. When you return to work Sunday, please check and accept the appointment so Registration confirms you received the notification.
If you have not received training for admission testing or gotten an invitation for training, expect one soon.

Tutor List
Teachers may provide individual or small group tutoring to students outside normal class lessons. If you would like to tutor AUS students, please note the following:
*The tutoring rate is no less than KD 12 per hour and no more than KD 20.
*You may not tutor students from the same grade level that you teach.
*Tutoring sessions are typically one hour.
If you are interested, please fill out Tutor Sign-up Form and submit it by Tuesday, September 28th, this list will be kept in the main office for parents’ requests.
