Ideas for Celebrating Children's Book Week at Home and Online

Daily Read Aloud
Your librarian, Ms. Ford, will be hosting a daily read aloud via the app Zoom. Tune in Monday-Friday at 2:00 P.M. during Children's Book Week to hear Ms. Ford read a story to you!
The Zoom meeting number and password can be accessed via your Google Classroom or Seesaw account.
Stahl Elementary Celebrates Children's Book Week
Each day Monday-Friday during Children's Book Week, students are encouraged to participate in activities that celebrate reading and books. Show your love of reading by posting a picture of yourself on our Stahl Facebook page. Click here to visit the Stahl Elementary Facebook page. You can also post to Twitter at #bookweek2020.
Monday, May 4th - Take a picture of you reading a book. You can include your whole family.
Tuesday, May 5th - Check out a digital book using the app Sora. Take a picture of you showing the cover of the book on your screen.
Wednesday, May 6th - Dress up as a favorite character from a story. Take a picture of you all dressed up.
Thursday, May 7th - Draw a poster about your favorite book. Take a video or picture of you with your drawing.
Friday, May 8th - Create an edible or non-edible item that represents your book. Your book representation can be a cake, Lego figure, or craft item. Take a picture or video with your creation.
