TPELC is Blooming!
Introduction of teachers and Bloom
Bloom Mentorship
Our teachers, curriculum coordinator, and director are currently going through a mentorship through the Dekko Foundation called bloom!. Dekko has given us a mentor who is taking us through 7 simple ideas to make our classrooms bloom!. Our teachers are being encouraged to step back a little and let the children gain their independence. They are learning to be very mindful of their interactions with the children, knowing when to step in and when to step back. bloom! consists of a book study every other week which is currently introducing the teachers to a new principle. The teachers also have a weekly observation which is done by the Bloom mentor and curriculum coordinator. Our teachers then have an opportunity to sit down with our bloom! mentor, curriculum coordinator, and director to reflect on what they have learned and their observation. Watch as our classrooms truly bloom! this school year!
Preschool with Miss Courtney
Hello! My name is Miss Courtney. I am a Butler, Indiana native and that is currently where I live. I recently got engaged and I am getting married next summer! My fiance has two children and they are twins. I am super excited to become a step-parent! We are all big Notre Dame fans, especially Notre Dame football fans. I am currently going to school to obtain a degree in Early Childhood Education which I will complete this coming spring. I am excited to be the preschool teacher this year and cannot wait to see the children grow and blossom as the school year progresses. You can expect your children to participate in various hands on experiences as we believe that is the best way for children to learn!
