Progress Reports Went Home Friday!!!
Attention Lee High Parents & Guardians! Progress reports went home Friday! Your child's grades can be viewed online anytime! Download the “PowerSchool Mobile” app on your smartphone. When prompted, enter district code SLXL. You can use your child’s username and password or request your own login by emailing joanne.justice@hsv-k12.org! If you would like to meet with your child's teachers, email their grade level counselor: 9th & 11th email Mrs. Lee at denise.landrith@hsv-k12.org and 10th & 12th email Ms. Stephens at quinieshia.stephens@hsv-k12.org.

Freshman Students of the Week
Shout-out to our Freshmen Students of the Week! Darianne Ewing comes to us from the Academy for Academics & Arts. She enjoys sleeping and eating in her free time. She is a member of the Creative Writing Magnet. After graduating from Lee, she plans to go to college, major in psychology, and become a therapist. Makenzie Conner comes to us from Chapman Middle School. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and reading. She plans to play volleyball next year. After graduating from Lee, she plans to go to college to become a nurse.

We are so excite for all the hard work our Dance Magnet students have put in to their Fall Recital! Come join us this Thursday and Friday at 7pm to see "Ignite the Fire" on the Lee High Mainstage.
A special thank you to write Georgina Cross for visiting with our Creative Writing Magnet this past week! Our students loved the opportunity to visit with an award winning novelist.

9th- 12th Grade – Join your grade level Schoology group! The College Counselors post relevant information in the grade level Schoology groups including scholarships, college info, financial aid, upcoming events and more as appropriate for each grade level. Make sure students are checking the “Updates” for these groups regularly.
11th & 12th Grade – Local Scholarship List – Check out the attached list of local scholarships! We update this list as we receive opportunities from local organizations throughout the year.
2022 Weekend Scholar (WES) Program
The Greater Huntsville (AL) Chapter of the Links Incorporated is pleased to announce the 2022 Weekend Scholar (WES) Program, which is a signature youth enrichment program designed to motivate, stimulate and engage the curiosity of students in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Health, International Issues, Math, and Life Skills training, through real-world experiences. The program is geared toward students in high school but we are focused on recruiting students in grades 9 and 10 as noted in the attached WES cover letter.
