A Message from Dr. Stone
Good evening!
It's starting to actually feel like fall outside! Basketball tryouts are under way. First games will start the week of November 4th. Hope to see you all at some of the games!
I hope everyone is having a great week!

Picture Retakes This Friday
School photos from the original picture day were handed out yesterday and today. If your student would like a do-over, have them bring their photos on Friday to give to the photographers for the retake.
If your student missed the original picture day, they can have their picture taken on Friday. If you would like to order photos, click here and use the order code 1920-0093. You or your student can also pick up an order form in the front office.
Any student who wants to be included in the yearbook should have their picture taken if it wasn't done at the first picture day, even if you do not want to order photos.

Volunteer for Junior Achievement
On Wednesday, November 20th, we will have the 6th grade JA Global Marketplace program. This program requires community volunteers to lead pre-planned sessions that help to educate and inspire young people to understand their role in the global economy and be ready for the workforce. The event will take place from 8:40 a.m. to 3:55 p.m.
A JA representative will host three online trainings prior to the event and those dates will be shared soon. Also, JA provides all materials for the program.
If you have volunteered in the past, we hope that you will join us again this year to help inspire a new group of 6th graders.
For questions, please contact Kelly Watkins at kellymwatkins@katyisd.org
We hope to see you in the classroom!
