Connecting Curriculum Tools to High Priority Standards
ELA/Math PD Follow-up Office Hours
As a follow-up to our Sept 23rd ELA and Math PD sessions (Connecting Curriculum Tools to High Priority Standards), we would like to offer some additional support in the form of drop-in office hours. During this time, we will be available to answer any questions or help guide you through various tools using screen sharing. Our office hours will be held as follows:
Math (April Gridler):
Monday, Oct 5th

ELA (Kristi Zenno):
Wednesday, Oct 7th
10:00-12:00
1:30-3:30
You are welcome to pop in anytime within the scheduled time frame and stay as long or as briefly as you need/want. If you are unable to attend during the scheduled times, please reach out to us and we will be happy to schedule a time that works better in order to support you.

Wonders recently released a document designed to support planning and educational decision-making by outlining the ELA instructional content priorities for the 2020–21 academic year (they match our LSD Priority Standards) and by providing an alignment to their curriculum.
These documents include a sample 5-day Instructional Cycle/Lesson Plan Model which address both whole group and small group instruction, as well as synchronous and asynchronous recommendations.
