7 Hills Go Pack Information for April 1st - 3rd
Our heart is to serve the community in any way that we can so we have created “GO PACKS” to help relieve some of the pressure that families are feeling at this time. Below you will find some of the contents of these GO PACKs:
- Oatmeal
- Ravioli
- JIF Protein pack
- Pop-tarts
- Microwavable mac & cheese
- Applesauce Cup
- 2 packs of Raman
- Packet of fruit snacks
- Packet of Goldfish
- Pop-top chicken noodle soup
- Granola bar(s)
- Toilet Paper
We have made sure that our facility where these bags were packed was cleaned and disinfected. All volunteers involved in packing these wore gloves and were not COVID-19 symptomatic in any way at the time of packing.
Parents can pick up a GO PACK this Wednesday – Friday (April 1st – 3rd)
Where: 7 Hills Church (6800 Hazel Ct. Florence, KY 41042). Follow the signs to the RED tent on campus. Families will pick up their GO PACK at the red tent
When: Wednesday – Friday (April 1st – April 3rd) from 12-6pm
*For us to best serve our community we are asking that families only request 1 box per 2 family members in their household.
* Next week, drive thru pick up times for GO PACKS might be different. We will send details once we know when those days/times will be.
It will be a drive-thru experience so parents will not need to get out of their car. Our volunteers will walk the packs out to their car with gloves on and will maintain appropriate distance. We appreciate everything you are doing to serve families during this time. Stay safe and well!
Best,
The 7 Hills Church Outreach Team

From Mrs. Taylor in the Library
I hope this finds all of our incredibly, awesome, Mustangs safe and sound! I really miss seeing your smiling faces when you come to the library. I miss searching for books with you in the mornings and choosing “just right books” together too. Although I miss being at school and seeing the students and teachers, I’m so grateful that I have a super-cool school to return to in the near future. I’ve updated my Google Classroom and I hope that each and every one of you will visit it and join. I have included reading lists (with more to come) for all ages as well as some fun-filled activities and goals that you can do. Please don’t hesitate to contact me. And, remember, KEEP ON READING!! GC code for the “NTI-EES Mustang Library” is 73dqg6h
Need something to read? Try e-books! Tumble Books can be processed from our school website. The link is listed under the “Library Media Center” tab. It includes activities, quizzes, and videos. If you are unable to access it, email Mrs. Taylor at Belinda.taylor@boone.kyschools.us. You can also take AR quizzes when you come back to school.

Character Analysis: Choose a character from a story and draw a picture of the character in the center of a piece of drawing paper. Around the character write/draw about the character's personality traits, actions, special words, thoughts and feelings, problems and challenges, and accomplishments. What do you have in common with this particular character?
Have a question? Ask your teacher!
Feel free to email with questions throughout the evening or in the morning. Those questions will be answered during school hours as soon as the teacher is able to get to them.

Non-Traditional Instructional Plans for Each Grade Level
From Your Special Areas Team
As we all learn from our first week of NTI, special areas will be making some changes and improvements to make it easier for parents and students to access our lessons for your children.
You can easily find special areas lessons by going to Google Classrooms and choosing the Special Areas classroom available for your child. (World language has a separate Google Classroom for classes in grades 2-5 called "Nihongo.") Once there, click the "Classwork" tab at the top of the page. You will find the lessons clearly marked under the special area heading. We have worked together to make the Google Classroom experience more uniform and simpler to understand. Thank you for your patience as we all learn this new technology!
The goal of the special areas team during these NTI days is to provide your student with experiences that enrich each student's learning and cultivate the development of the whole child, while still staying true to each content's standards.
Each week, please encourage your child to try to complete lessons from special areas. Although all content areas are important, we do not want students and parents to feel stressed by specials lesson as we all adapt to this new normal for learning. Students are free to complete them on their own time table, as they can. Special areas can help provide something different for your child to learn and experience that may be a welcome break from their core content area work. Thank you!
