Glows and Grows

Glows: I am so incredibly impressed with the growth in the writing I am seeing when I walk classrooms. Clearly, strong effort is being put into the instruction and planning and it shows. A huge thank you to Amos and custodial staff for taking on so many large events over the last couple of weeks. It is noticed and appreciated =)

Grow: With instruction (and not intervention) in mind, what is one area that you think you could target for small group instruction?

Morning PE

I just wanted to take a second to review the purpose of morning PE. Remember, the primary purpose of the time is to get students moving and to get blood flowing. It is a fantastic way to get all of our 1st-5th students together each day as a school. Additionally, it does help us fulfill the state requirement for PE minutes.

With that in mind, please remember we need all teachers on deck. That means we are interacting with students, participating, supervising, etc. I know it is a great time to chat with your colleagues, especially the ones you don't see as often, but we really need all of the help we can get in making it the best possible time possible.

Thanks so much for your help!
