If a parent is requesting that child not wear a mask due to medical concerns, the child must return the form to the front office. Please see the form at the bottom of the newsletter.

The consequences are listed below. If students come to your room without a mask, please send them to student services, which is located in the media center. If a student fails to adhere, please notify Dean Warner.

Congratulation to our Global Scholars!
Global Scholars is an international digital exchange program that connects students ages 10 to 13 in cities around the world. In Mrs. Schaeffer’s class, these students will participate in a project-based curriculum and engage with international peers in an e-classroom, with the goal of advancing global competency. In previous years, our students have worked with peers in Paris, Barcelona, London, Taipei, Warsaw, Toronto, Johannesburg, Buenos Aries, Nur-Sultan and Hiroshima. The program officially begins September 20th, so be on the look out for more details coming home with your child soon!

"I’m looking forward to another wonderful athletic school year. This year our Volleyball and Football Teams will once again be competing for the top spot in the Southern Division. We are planning to bring back the city title. Our Volleyball team has a great group of returning players and with the addition of new players should make for a very talented and intelligent team. The team holds a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.55. This team exemplifies our school motto “Excellence in Academics, Athletics and the Arts”. Coach Dailey and I look forward to seeing everyone in the gym for our first home games on September 27th, a double header vs. Landon and Dupont. GO Hawks!!!"- Coach Shmunes
