SO much to be proud of...

Our choir represented Hillcrest and the broader community at the Brookfield Tree Lighting on Wednesday. It was wonderful to see so many families join the fun. Thank you to Mrs. Runingen for organizing this opportunity.

Thank you to those who have sent in donations for our Food and Toy Drive. More information can be found below and the collection will continue through next Friday.

Holiday Staff Gift Program

If you are still thinking of getting a gift for a teacher or staff member this holiday season there is still time to participate in Hillcrest's wonderful holiday staff gift program. THE DUE DATE has been extended to Monday, December 11th. The Staff gift form allows you to give money towards any staff member at any amount you would like to give. Then the money is combined to purchase gift cards through our scrip program for the staff members to use at some of their favorite stores or restaurants. Here are links for information about the program and the form. For a recap of how it works, please click this link for more information. HERE is the form to complete for staff gift giving.

Toy and Food Drive

Our generous Hillcrest community would like to help out families in need this season. We will be hosting two "drives" over the next two weeks.

The first is a food drive for the Salvation Army. Our very own Sally Graser works closely with the Salvation Army and there is a definite need for any baby items; including food, formula and diapering supplies.

Our second drive is a Toy Drive. We are partnering with local agencies (Toys for Tots through the Salvation Army) to collect new toys to be distributed to children in need throughout the region.

If your family is interested in donating, please send donations to school by Friday, December 15th and we will get the supplies routed to the perspective agencies.

Jason's Deli Fundraiser

On Friday, December 15th a percentage of the proceeds from sales at Jason’s Deli in Brookfield Square will go to the Hillcrest PTO. You must mention Hillcrest and place your order between 5-10 pm.

Hillcrest PTO Culver's Night

Looking forward to the next Hillcrest Culver's Night? This month's event is Tuesday, December 19th. The custard currently scheduled for that evening is Chocolate Eclair.

Community Connection
