No Name Calling Week This Week

No Name Calling Week This Week

Parents and Caregivers,

This week is No Name Calling Week. Here is what to wear in honor of NNCW:

Tuesday 1/16: Use your head! Students and staff are encouraged to wear their favorite hat as a reminder to use our head and remember to take responsibility for our words and choices.

Wednesday 1/17: Respecting our differences! Students and staff are encouraged to wear sweat suits or exercise outfits as a reminder that even though we are each different, as a community, we can stand up against bullying.

Thursday 1/18: Character Counts! Students and staff are encouraged to wear their favorite cartoon character t-shirt as a reminder that if we call each other names, we are not using good character.

Friday 1/19 Be a Team Player! Students and staff are encouraged to wear your favorite team shirt, jersey, or colors or their Pride wear to school as a reminder to stand up to bullying.

News from our Nurses' Office

We are always looking for clean used clothes to help our scholars who need a clean pair. Pants that are 4-7 year old and clean undies. Please contact the nurses' office by calling 315-287-4952.

Reminder: Make Sure Your Emergency Addresses are Correct on Emergency Sheets

As you know, we are in the months of unpredictable weather patterns. We just want to remind everyone to have the correct place where your child goes in case of an early dismissal. Be aware, that all notes are voided if this is called and we follow the emergency addresses on your emergency sheet. This is for the safety of all our students. When this is called, the office goes into emergency procedures as we only have so long to get our children on the correct buses and dismissal. We will not accept ANY changes over the phone for the safety of our children. Although these days are rare, we have had them, so please be alert to weather patterns. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation for the safety of all!
