High Expectations:
Every Scholar, Every Day
A Word from Principal Haynes
Greetings Parents,
I am so excited to have such a large group of parents to have attended out PTA Interest Meeting last week!! We were able to establish a core group of parents to take the lead on organizing and re-chartering the PTA at our school. Over the next month, they will be finalizing the details with the help of the Broward County PTA. We will keep you posted with the details.
Thank you also to parents who donated sidewalk chalk for our "Chalk for Peace" project taking place on Friday! Words cannot express my gratitude for your donation! I can't wait to share our scholars' creations in next week's newsletter!
Interim reports are coming home TOMORROW. These are progress reports that let you know how your child is progressing academically and behaviorally. ALL scholars will receive an interim report this quarter. As we move forward, your scholar would only receive it if they are struggling and there is a concern. Talk with the teacher for more information.
Please mark your calendars to attend our School Advisory Council Meeting on Tuesday, September 18th at 6:15PM!! This is a meeting to learn about the school improvement plan we have and see what we are doing to move our school forward academically. Please come out to be informed. WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!
Wishing you an AMAZING and BLESSED week!!
Principal Haynes
