Texas Association for the Gifted & Talented Upcoming Parent Event

Join TAGT for a Free Parent Webinar Now in Spanish & English

When children show strong abilities in one academic area or another, the adults in their lives often encourage them to pursue hobbies and careers that play off those strengths. That may certainly be an advantage, but sometimes the strategy can leave children feeling incomplete. In this session, we’ll explore a path that supports academic growth while sparking curiosity in childhood. Learn more here.

Simply fill out this form and we will send you a link to the webinar. We hope you'll join us! Want to share this event with someone? Download this flyer in English or Spanish and share it with your peers. NEW! Now with a live Spanish interpretation during the event.

G/T Parent Bootcamp

So your child is GT... now what!?!?!

This one hour video recorded in 2018 is a great workshop that the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented provided with Dr. Lynette Breedlove. Because it's a few years old, there's some info at the beginning that's no longer current so fast forward to 1:49 to get to her presentation. Also, as it's a recording, you won't be able to comment or chat the way the live participants did, but it's still full of awesome information. Not all of it applies to every child because GT isn't "one size fits all". However, I am confident you'll hear some great things you can use to help your child and your family in this unique pathway of parenting a GT child.
