Week of November 18th to 22nd
As we begin to count down to turkey meals, family gatherings, and the holiday season; it is often a time of reflection as our year begins to wind down, and a new year is visible on the horizon. During this time, plans are being made of where to go , grocery lists are growing, and families are coming together creating fond memories for the future. Remember in all of the chaos to stop and take time to breath in theses moments and treasure what blessings are around you. Live in each moment, relish each relative that joins you, and laugh through the moments that don't go quite as planned! Enjoy this seasons break and look around to see all that there is to be thankful for, big and small!
Let it not be forgotten that not all families or folks in our area have the means to make Thanksgiving a feast. Please reach out and help those in need by donating to our Student Council Spirits of Christmas food drive, take some time to help out at a local shelter, or adopt a family to help make memories with. Every small act of kindness and warmth resonates within those with less and makes the holiday season seem to be more!
