This Week in Waumba Land
Sunday, November 3rd
Happy Halloween! Those of you with kiddos, I'd love for you to share pictures of them in their costumes. You can email them to me and if it's ok with you, I will send them out to our whole group.
A huge thank you to everyone last week. I'm pretty sure the babies in room 214 weren't too crazy about Super Hero Sunday. Thank you for your patience and perseverance through all the tears. Thank you Ashley and Arlene for handling your room beautifully. There were only two of you and 6 babies. No one could even tell that you were way out-numbered. All of you are rockstars and I for sure am blessed by each of you.
This is an exciting week for our church. Andy will kick off our Be Rich Campaign this Sunday. It's our annual giving and serving campaign and we are all challenged to "do more" and "give more" by being rich toward others. 1 Timothy 6:18 "Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share". Each week you will be given opportunities to give time, money gifts and food to benefit others and I would encourage you all to participate. I even have a hunch that when you participate you will be blessed just as much as those on the receiving end of your generosity. When we get to the serving week, I'd love it we can come up with an activity to do together. Please be thinking about this and let's share ideas over the next few weeks.
I hope you have a great weekend and I look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday.
