Special Education
In order for a student to be set up for success, the student needs to be provided with an environment conducive to learning. Please supply all students with the following when delivering instruction or when having your student attend related special education services:
Distractions are minimized in the direct instruction and independent work areas.
The student is seated and positioned in an appropriate location to maximize focus on the task or learning coach.
All materials needed for activities are in appropriate places in the classroom where students can access them easily.

WAITLISTS:
We strongly encourage families to sign up for the waitlist. Waitlists allow us to gauge the demand for popular trips and schedule additional trips for future dates. Families that sign up for the waitlist will be given priority booking for the future trip.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
CHAPERONES
All students must be accompanied on school-organized field trips by an adult chaperone; we do not offer drop-off field trips!
Please make sure to add a chaperone ticket when booking field trips for your student(s)!
Due to limited space and availability, we can only allow one chaperone per family.
Depending on the venue, it may be possible to purchase additional tickets directly from the venue.
We cannot guarantee additional tickets will be available through the venue.
Any tickets purchased directly from the venue may be a higher cost and will be separate from the school field trip.
NON-ENROLLED SIBLINGS
Non-enrolled siblings may attend field trips (provided there are no age restrictions for the particular field trip/venue).
Siblings between 2-4 years old -- Tickets must be purchased on the FTE site.
Siblings under 2 -- If there is a ticket cost for children under 2, the tickets must be purchased directly from the venue.
Please be sure to check the field trip details carefully regarding any age restrictions for the particular field trip before booking!
COVID GUIDELINES
Field trips are considered an extension of the school, and therefore we are required to follow local county and state COVID guidelines, in addition to the venue's COVID guidelines. Masks will be required for all indoor field trips or if the venue requires them.
If you or your student has a medical exemption from wearing a mask, we will require proof of the medical exemption. A face shield with a drape will be required in lieu of a mask for those with a documented medical exemption.
CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOWS
All field trip purchases are final. If you are unable to attend a field trip, please notify us in advance. We cannot provide refunds for cancellation requests or no shows.

Hi, I am a Mother of 4 sons, and grandma of 3 little ones. I learned about homeschooling about 5 years ago and I loved the whole concept. I homeschooled my youngest son and he loved it! I wish I had known this way of teaching when my other sons were little. I love helping families to thrive, and be successful! I am here to help you in any way I can.
