Character Education Newsletter
Blain Elementary School - October 2019
RESPECT
Through the month of October we continued to focus on the Character Trait of Respect. In order to transition from just thinking and feeling to actual action, a Day of Service was scheduled for the week of October 21-25. Each classroom identified a way they could show respect to others by participating in an act of service. Students wrote letters to veterans and staff, performed for seniors, created special gifts, collected clothes, and decorated lunch bags for Meals on Wheels.
