Genital Warts (HPV)

Transmissions
Passed from person to person through intimate sexual contact (vaginal, anal,sex). More than 30 types of HPV cause genital warts.
Symptoms
Examining the skin closely a pap smear and other test with a magnifying glass.
Treatments
There is no cure that will get rid of HPV virus completely viral medications. If you are sexually active , think you might have genital warts , or if you have had a partner who might have general warts, you need to see your doctor or gyneclogist
Problems
Genital Warts grow bigger and multiply cervix that may lead to cervical cancer. Often they go away on their own without treatment.
Prevention
Abstinence (the decision not to have sex). Protection by properly using a latex condom.
Condoms may not give complete protection because the viral can spread from the areas of the genitals not covered by the condom
