If you have a project you have been working with a professor on, are doing a capstone project, or have some other exciting research, creative, or civic engagement project, then these are two great opportunities this spring to showcase your work. The WSU Celebration of Scholarship and Creativity is scheduled for April 17, 2019. The WSU Celebration is open to both graduate and undergraduate students. The registration deadline for the WSU Celebration is 3 pm on March 1, 2019.

Acoustic Guitar Performances

VPA majors James Bilis and Anthony Marzilli will perform acoustic guitar music solos and duets this Friday, March 1 from 12:00pm-12:30pm. in the LRC Starbucks Lounge.
Listen to blues, classical, and improvisations while you enjoy coffee. The event is free and open to the public.

Spring hasn't popped up yet, but art is popping up on March 5 - 8 in the Gallery, in the Ghosh Science and Tech Bldg. See student drawings the Life Studio course with Cathy Wilcox-Titus and a variety of media from VP300 with Stacey Parker.

WSU Chorale Delivers on the Swinging 60s - March 7
Accompanied by the Bobby Gadoury Trio, the WSU Chorale offers up tunes from the 60s, including Aretha and the Beatles to the Stones and the Supremes. It's an evening of Rock, Motown and Soul. The event takes place on March 7 at 7 p.m. at El Basha at 256 Park Ave. Worcester. Tickets are $10. Food and beverage can be purchased separately at El Basha. Peter and the Starcatcher
Catch VPA's first theatre production of the semester with Peter and the Starcatcher by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson as adapted for the stage by Rick Elice. A prequel to Peter Pan, Peter and the Starcatcher dishes up the backstory for Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Tinker Bell and more in a humorous way - all accentuated with a Tony-nominated musical score.
