Look What's Happening in Year Six!
18th May 2015
Exhibition
Please note that there are only six school days left until exhibition evening is upon us. During this time the students will be pulling together all of the research they have been gathering and preparing to share this with you in the form of visual and spoken presentations. It is important to note that this will be a very busy time for your child.
Please be mindful that the Monday of exhibition week is a public holiday, therefore the students will only have two days to finalise their materials prior to exhibition day. The Tuesday and Wednesday will be pulling all of their research together ready to be presented. During the day of the 28th, May the students will have an opportunity to present to the Year Five students, some secondary students, staff and invited ESF guests. This session is not open to parents, as it is an opportunity for the students to have a run through and make last minute changes prior to sharing with you at 6pm that evening.
It is a very busy time for both teachers and students, there is still a way to go and is not the time to be slowing down, but I would encourage you to be mindful of the pressure your child may be feeling at this time. Please take a moment to check in with them and provide regular words of encouragement.
We look forward to sharing in this wonderful celebration of your child's learning.
