PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Organization and Productivity
In this session, participants learned how to organize their digital life for increased productivity and decreased stress. We covered the tools that teachers already have at their disposal, as well as tips and tricks to use so that technology will make their lives easier. As we moved through the presentation, participants implemented some of the new strategies on their own devices and practiced using them.

Grants
Swivl Toward Learning
This grant was obtained to increase the use of video in our schools. With all of our new technology, video is becoming an increasingly used method to share information.
Teachers can create flipped instruction videos, students can record and share learning with others, and all staff can use video to evaluate and improve instruction.
Digital Days
This grant was obtained in order to provide even more opportunities for our students to become highly engaged twenty-first century learners. Before the grant, technology varied in amount and type across elementary schools in Norman Public Schools. The Digital Learning Days program is a way for us to provide experiences with the latest technology to ALL students, to bridge the digital divide and to bring equal opportunities to all learners.
