Winter Activities Update
Dance Team: Dance team had a great season. They finished in 2nd or 3rd place in several Invites! They finished their season on February 11th falling just short of going to the State Meet. Congratulations to our dancers! Their performance at the Winter Pep Fest was spectacular!
Boys Swim/Dive: Our boys season will be wrapping up in the next couple of weeks. Sections are on Friday, due to the weather it is timed finals in one day. Good luck to our swimmers and our divers! Hopefully we will have state entries for the following week. Good luck Tigers!
Boys Basketball: The boys basketball team has a few regular season games left before they enter sections on March 6. They have had some tough finishes this season but are looking forward to entering sections at full force! Good Luck Tigers.
Girls Basketball: The girls teams is finishing the regular season with an almost 50-50 record. They have had a few very close and exciting games. They will enter Sections March 1 and are hoping to be a high seed and end up with a home game. Good luck in sections!
Wrestling: Wrestling has had a very good year and has ended up earning a conference championship! They had a good battle in Team sections and will enter individual sections this week. Good luck to all of our wrestlers!!
Competition Cheer: The Comp Cheer team will end the season at the WOW Factor competition this weekend at the Minneapolis Convention center. It is a huge meet and they hope to do very well while learning from the other teams. Go Cheer Team!!
Boys Hockey: Fridley is part of the Irondale High School Coop for Boys Hockey. This year we had 3 participants. We are proud of our students who participated in Hockey this year. Keep working hard and come back stronger for next season.
Drama: The One Act Play cast performed "We Are the Sea" in section competition and made it to the Semi-Finals! Even though they finished short of the State competition they performed very well and had a great season. Congratulations One Act Play Cast and crew!

How to Register for Sports and Activities
All students participating in athletics need to have a current physical (within the last 3 years) on file at school. You can find the date of your last physical in the health tab of the student or parent portal in Campus. If you have any questions about physicals or registration please email or call Sue Hanson using the info above.
Activity Buses
You must sign up for the Activity Bus for each season you participate in during the school year. The bus departs FMS at 4:45. It is for all students participating in a MS only activity who normally rides a bus to school. Activity buses for 7-12 sports depart at 6pm and are for students who are open enrolled through NWSISD and has limited in district routes. If you want to use the transportation available after practices, you must sign up as soon as possible, at least 2 weeks before you need a ride. You will get an email notifying you that your transportation has been set up. Sign up for the Bus NOW!!
