The Good The BAD and The Ugly

Breeder or non-breeder
I used to think that all dog breeders were bad. The reason why I thought this was because when I was younger my mom and dad and I went and got a beautiful little puppy from this dog breeder. I loved her and named her Frosty. But sadly, what I remember most was the dog breeder's house. The breeder did not even want us to come in, but Dad insisted. When we walked in, a terrible smell filled my nose. I was sickened by what I saw. The house looked like a pigstye. The puppies sat in their own poop and urine. There was no water for them either. I wanted to cry. I was so happy we were taking sweet Frosty from this place. My happiness did not last long. The very next morning our new puppy was dead.
Frosty's horrible living conditions caused her early death. I was sad and pretty angry too. I hated dog breeders. Luckily, I found out that the story of Frosty does not happen with all dog breeders.
If you were like me and think that all breeders are bad I'm here to tell you that this is not true. There are good dog breeders out there.
some good breeder experiences
Daisy Bell: the brave
"When I was little, I remember my dad and mom coming home from Kentucky with my little Daisy Bell. She was small, cute with white fur. She was a Parson Russell, a full breed dog kind of like a Jack Russell, but a little bit smaller. My dad picked her from about 5 or ten puppies. Daisy Bell was the only one that was all curious and not close to the mother. My dad liked the confidence in the puppy so he chose daisy. Snowball was Daisy's real name, but we decided on Daisy Bell instead. My dad and mom lugged the cage, and daisy all the way back to Noblesville, and is loved and cared for by everyone in the family." -Addison McMillan, 5th grade
Lillie
9 years ago I remember going to get a new puppy. we were going to get it from a dog breeder. I did not want to go get a dog from a dog breeder ever again because of what happened to Frosty but when my grandma and I got to the dog breeders house there was a huge fenced in yard and there was sprinklers, tunnels, ball pits there was even a doggie water fountain. When we went in the house it was the most prettiest house there was lots of food and water also toys for the puppy's. The dog breeder showed me a picture from every night she would tuck the puppy's in. When I finally got to pick out the puppy I picked out the runt she was black and white and when I picked her up she could fit in the palm of my hand I loved her. I still have her to this day she is 9 years old.
Sometimes choosing a certain breeder is hard because you don't know if the breeder is bad or good until you get to there house. I am really glad that I had my Frosty experience and my Lillie experience because if I never had my Lillie I would not have known the true about breeders.
