School Garden Plans
Thanks to your generous Apex Fun Run donations, we are able to bring this project to life for our students. Below are some digital renderings of the plans. You can see that we are planning to install a series of keyhole gardens alongside an outdoor classroom. This area is dedicated to bringing hands-on learning experiences to our students. It will also serve as a place where parents, staff and community members can gather together and contribute to our learning experiences here at WCH. The outdoor learning center and garden will be located at the rear of our building behind the 4th and 5th grade classrooms, running alongside Sabino and is designed for all grade levels to enjoy!
This project supports our vision of bringing authentic learning experiences to our students, promotes a sense of community and encourages innovative teaching practices. We deeply appreciate all that you and our students have done to make this project a reality.
