Wakeland Band and Color Guard
August 6, 2017
Week 3 is here!
WOW! What an amazing job you all did last week! The amount of improvement you made from day to day was astonishing!
We are extremely excited to continue and put Part II on the field this week!
This week is our last week of 8a-8p on Mon-Wed. Make sure you have all the materials you need for camp. Starting on Thursday, we go from 5-10p for the remainder of the week.
Due to FISD professional development being hosted on campus this Thursday and Friday, we have decided to cancel the 2p-4p sectionals and have all students arrive around 4/4:30 for our 5p-10p rehearsals.
NEXT WEEK, we will resume to the 2-4/5-10 days for the final week of camp.

Please review the Google Calendar and plan accordingly. You may also find a PDF version for you to print out for your fridge @ http://www.wakelandband.org/school-year-rehearsal-schedule.html
NOTE: There has been a change on week of Sept. 11 due to our football game vs. JJ Pearce being moved to Thursday from Friday. Please check the new attachment.
Event Volunteer Signups
Parents take the opportunity to look at the following football game signups (contest signups available after the 1st week of school). If you are considering volunteering for the San Antonio trip, you must volunteer prior to that event.
While volunteering is not mandatory, we encourage every family to volunteer at least twice during the school year so our program runs smoothly.
If you have any questions concerning volunteering, you may contact the chair of that position or contact the Volunteer Chair, Melinda Wemhoff at booster-volunteers@wakelandband.com
Thank you for giving your time!
