ARRIVAL/DISMISSAL REMINDERS
Parents, please ALWAYS drop off and pick up on the right-side curb.
PICK UP ON THE RIGHT
Just a reminder to park on the right side if you are waiting for your scholars in the drive-thru lane. Drop off on the right, drive-thru on the left! :)
STAGGERED DISMISSAL
We have adjusted our staggered dismissal groups & times to ensure a safer, faster exit.
3:50- Walkers (all grades)
3:55- Bus Riders (all grades)
3:58- Car Riders (6th grade)
4:03- Car Riders (7th & 8th grade)
**Please remember to drive slowly out of the campus, and follow the direction of the staff members directing traffic.
All scholars are expected to cross the street at the light! Parents, please do not encourage your children to run across the street through traffic to get in your car. This is for their safety. We will help guide them to the traffic signal to cross. It will take an extra minute or so, but safety is always FIRST! Thank you for your help with this expectation. Let's work together for their safety.
CROSSING GUARD REQUEST
We want to thank our amazing staff members for assisting us with helping students to cross the street safely. We have put in a request with the City of Dallas to provide us an official crossing guard. We will keep you posted on their response. Thank you for your support!
Upcoming MAP Testing
All testing is done on computer. Please make sure your scholars bring their Chromebooks and chargers daily, so they can complete their tests.
VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
If your child did NOT take the Spring 2021 STAAR test, they are required to complete 30 hours of tutorials (according to HB4545). However, if your child receives a high score on the MAP test, they will exempt from the 30-hour requirement. Again, this option is ONLY for students who did NOT take the reading or math test last spring.
DRESS CODE REMINDERS
Please remember, scholars MUST wear their polo & khakis daily.
They may NOT wear:
- Crocs (shoes)
- Hats/Caps
- Pullovers/Sweaters on top of their polo
- Hoods (on head)
ALLOWABLE ATTIRE:
- Zip-up jackets (cannot wear hood in the building)

ARSA SEL Corner
SEL Corner
We want our Rangers to have positive attitudes and manage their emotions as they interact with others and begin to find their identities! At ARSA, our mission is everyday we develop the whole child. This begins with implementing strong SEL practices!
FAMILY SEL MOMENT:
Social-emotional learning is about helping your child learn and apply the skills and understanding needed to manage their feelings. When your child is struggling with something new this week (no matter what it is), remind them of a time they worked hard to overcome obstacles. By shining a light on your child’s past successes, their path forward is a bit clearer.
