Health and Safety is our Top Priority

I hope you have all enjoyed your summer and found some time for rest and relaxation. Please remember that if you have traveled to a state in which NJ has designated a quarantine state. Please be sure your child has quarantined for 14 days before sending them back to school. Our goal is to remain open and eventually get all of the students back in the building. However, this must be a team effort to make this happen. If you are unsure if a state you have recently traveled to is on this list, please click the link below to see the most recent updates. Please call the main office if you should have any questions.

R School Today- Daily Health Screening

Roxbury will be using the R School Today Daily Health Screening App. When logging in, please be sure to use your email address that you have entered into your child's parent portal information. Please see the below letter and link to assist you in setting up this app.

All students must be screened no later than 8:20 am on the days they will be in person at school. If you do not complete the screening, your child will not be permitted to class until the screening is complete. We will contact you should this occur.

Getting Started in Classlink

If you are having a hard time getting started on Classlink, please see the brief video below. Please know that all usernames and passwords can be found in your Genesis Parent Portal. Kindergarten usernames and passwords should be completed this weekend.

If you have any other questions, please the below information and links

Ordering Lunch for Your Child?

There is a change in ordering lunch this year. Every day, parents will have to click on the below link, also found in the attached letter, and order there child lunch. We will then send the child's lunch home with them. Please make sure all orders are in by 8:00 am. I have also attached the monthly lunch menu for KES which is located in a link below.

Arrival / Dismissal Reminders

******The only entrance open for arrival is the main entrance of the building******

For dismissal, all walkers and students being picked up will use the exits by the Kindergarten classrooms at the far end of the building from the main entrance. K-2 will exit by the front stairs, and Grades 3-4 will exit the rear of the building closest to the playground.

Parents must have an id with them to verify who is picking up each student(s). All dismissal changes must be made in Genesis before noon.

If your child is a back walker, please make sure the person picking up your child is on your contacts in Genesis.

If you are the parent of a 3rd or 4th grader and would like your child to walk home without having to sign them out, a waiver is being sent home. Please fill it out entirely and send it back to school with your child. We must have a signed waiver to dismiss any student by themselves.
( Please note, a waiver is not available for students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade).

A Note from our Nurse

Please make sure all physicals, vaccinations, and doctor's orders for medication are updated for the 2020-21 school year. If there is any other pertinent information the school nurse needs, please contact them to make sure all updates are made.

Please contact the nurse if you should have any questions.
