Monday Memo
11th-15th
From Your Assistant Principal
Many thanks go out to you this week. Thank you for putting students first and being flexible with your schedules as we tested our 1st and 2nd graders. We have just two kids left to test. Special shout out to Meliza Duran, Kathia Compton, Marelisa Moreno and Cathy Custer for helping with make-up testings.
Over the next few weeks our interns will be wrapping up their internships. Many have inquired about observing in other classrooms. Please welcome them into your room so that they can soak up as much as possible in their final days.
Report Card Reviews start Monday. Please be sure to follow the schedule and be prepared with the required items. This will help us to assisting you with your students and begin the process of making decisions for next year. Remember that your grades are due by 9:00 am on Monday, April 11th.
Have a wonderful week and Go Tigers!

Love My School Day

From Your Counselors
Perseverance reminds me of the Energizer Bunny. Though in a school setting, perseverance should not only be to keep going and going and going but should be to keep going and going and going to reach a goal. If the end is undefined or unclear for students, then the motivation to persevere will not be as strong. Keep this in mind for you too. If you are struggling to accomplish something or it seems challenging to continue, think about your goal and why it is important to you to get to the end result you desire. Clarify your goals-- write them down, post them, say them out loud, share them, keep them visible and perseverance will come naturally.
