Career Inventory
Next week Mrs. Pomera will conduct a lesson to 6th grade students about the Georgia Career Information System which, provides current and accurate occupational and educational information to schools and agencies throughout Georgia in order to help students make informed career choices. I encourage you to have a conversation with your child about career paths and what they have learned. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Pomera at 678-407-7138.
Boys On the Rise Mentor Club
Mrs. Pomera conducted the monthly meeting with the Boys on the Rise mentor group. Mr. Christopher Poe our guest speaker discussed with the boys the importance of building positive relationships with peers and adults, and the effects it can have on them. The mentors then had an opportunity to teach the boys their tie-tying knowledge they had gained from their fathers, grandfathers, uncles on to our Northbrook boys. It was truly a treat to see the smiles on their faces!
